With us you can choose between two types of private pilot licenses: PPL(A) and LAPL(A). In addition, you can expand your license with the ability to fly at night (NQ), get instrument privileges so that you are not limited by VFR minima (CB-IR) and you can take or renew your SEP(land) license so that you have the ability to operate a single engine aircraft. You can start flying, regardless of age. There is no age limit for taking flying lessons. To fly a motor aircraft solo, that is, alone on board, you must be 16 years old. To be issued an LAPL(A) or PPL(A), you must be 17 years old.
No. Neither the LAPL nor the PPL can be used for commercial flying, but you can use it privately. You can fly your own aircraft or in a flying club and you can carry passengers, but not for payment.
Before you start your training, we recommend that you take a medical health test. This is to make sure that you are actually healthy enough to take the pilot's license.The ability to start with the certificate depends on the capacity of both the aircraft and the instructor. It can take 6-24 months to get your LALP or PPL. There are several factors that affect how quickly it can go, primarily how much time you have available in your everyday life, but also the capacity of the instructors and aircraft, and consideration of weather conditions.
The PPL (Private Pilot Licence) exam consists of nine subjects with 20 questions per subject. The questions are multiple-choice questions where you are given one question and four answer options. Only one option is correct, the others are incorrect.It is the same theory exam for the LAPL (Light Aircraft Pilot Licence) as for the PPL.
